Hybrid MV/LV AC/DC grid in operation

As part of the 3rd General Assembly Meeting of the EU Horizon 2020 project HYPERRIDE, the operation of the hybrid MV/LV AC/DC grid was successfully demonstrated at the Institute for Power Generation and Storage Systems. Several converters were coordinated in operation across different voltage levels via a specially developed SCADA system. The pilot site is one of a total of three demonstrators that are to be virtually coupled with each other in the course of the project.
